The date change utility is to be used when an incorrect date is
showing on a payslip. If the payroll has been run using the wrong
payroll run date, the utility can be run to correct this
date.
The example payslip below shows the payroll run date as being
30/05/2008
If this date was incorrect, say it should have been 31/05/2008,
the date change utility would correct this.

To install the utility please save the utility into your program
directory (C:\Program Files\IRIS Software Ltd\IRIS Payroll) and
unzip. To run double left click on the file 'DateChange.exe' and do
the following steps:
- Select the company you want to change
- Select the period(s) you want to change
- Manually enter the correct Tax Year
- Click on the button next to the date box and choose the new
Payroll Date
- Finally click on the Amend button, then click on yes to confirm
the process
Below is an example of the utility for this scenario.
It shows week 8 as the period to be changed, and the New Payroll
Date showing as 31/05/2008.

The main purpose of the date change utility is to prevent the
user from having to undo and redo the payroll run with the correct
date.
The date change utility is mainly used for payslips, but can be
also used for any other report which has been printed.
The date will be changed in the database against the employees
who were paid in this particular period.
