    The optional Spreadsheet Import module enables you to import your Microsoft Excel information directly into your pay run

    Designed specifically for Accountants, Bureaux or any payroll with lots of variable data. This module makes it easy to get information into the pay run without having to go into each employee’s pay run screen. Similarly, if information is already in Microsoft Excel format, you can import this directly into your template.

    You can quickly create templates containing the specific pay elements in your spreadsheet, such as bonuses, hourly rates or overtime, then import them each period with a click of a button.

    This module is also perfect for making bulk payments as you can manually type amounts into the template as well as import.

    IRIS Payroll Professional and CIS

    IRIS Payroll Professional deals with the calculation of CIS tax. The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) sets out the rules for how payments to sub-contractors must be handled by contractors in the construction industry and other specified businesses.

    Under the Scheme, all payments made from contractors to sub-contractors must take account of the sub-contractors tax status as determined by HMRC. This may require the contractor to make a deduction from the sub-contractor’s payment and pay it to HMRC.
    The new Construction Industry Scheme dispenses with the need for registration cards, certificates and vouchers, replacing them with electronic registration via HMRC’s Gateway (already used for PAYE returns).
